Personal Treasures - Wednesday
On my bookshelf, a picture of my Grandpa and Grandma. Irish Catholic to the bone, they were married for 54 years, through war, coal mines, steel mills, and 6 sons. They were the epitome of the Greatest Generation. They will always be my most influential role models. Next to their picture is our Irish Wedding Bell - traditional has it that one spouse rings the bell after a fight, as a signal you are ready to kiss and make-up.

ReplyDeleteThat is a great story and a very meaningful picture. If you aren't ready to make up, can you bonk them over the head with the bell?
